Natalie and Jeremiah’s Metro Detroit wedding was meaningful, classic, so full of happiness! The day started in Livonia with a beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Edith Catholic Church, followed by portraits in Plymouth before heading to The Meeting House Grand Ballroom for the reception.

With a first touch and private vows to an emotional ceremony and sweetest park portraits, sunset photos, heartfelt speeches, and packed dance floor, every part their day felt full of love and family. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

The Details & Getting Ready For a Metro Detroit Wedding Day

Natalie and Jeremiah started the morning of their Metro Detroit wedding separately with their people before their Catholic ceremony in Livonia.

Natalie got ready at home with her bridesmaids and family, and the whole morning felt so full of emotion. She looked so beautiful in her off-the-shoulder dress with long sleeves. One of my favorite parts of the morning was watching Natalie’s mom take it all in. She was truly beside herself in the sweetest way, so happy and full of love for her daughter!

While Natalie was getting ready with the girls, Jeremiah spent the morning with his groomsmen, watching sports and getting dressed. He wore a classic black tux and bow tie.

A First Touch & Catholic Wedding Ceremony at St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia, MI

Before the ceremony, Natalie and Jeremiah shared the sweetest first touch outside of St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia. Jeremiah was blindfolded as Natalie was brought out, and the two held hands around a tree while sharing private vows with one another. It was such an emotional moment before the ceremony just for them.

Afterward, they headed inside for their Catholic wedding ceremony where Jeremiah saw Natalie for the first time as she walked down the aisle. In their initial wedding questionnaire, Jeremiah shared that seeing Natalie walk down the aisle was what he was most looking forward to on their wedding day, so it was just so special to see and capture his reaction.

Newlywed & Bridal Party Photos

After their ceremony, we made our way to Kellogg Park in Plymouth for newlywed and wedding party portraits. Since there were a few hours between the ceremony and reception, it gave everyone time to enjoy the weather and take in such a beautiful part of their Metro Detroit wedding day.

One of the sweetest moments happened during group photos when a little girl stopped by and told Natalie that she looked like a princess. She ended up giving her a flower from her bouquet, and it was the sweetest moment to witness! Natalie also ended up giving her mom her bouquet as a sweet token. It was just all around such a beautiful day with so many genuine moments like that.

A Metro Detroit Wedding Reception at Meeting House Grand Ballroom in Plymouth

Before heading fully into the reception, we were able to sneak outside for a few sunset photos. Their reception at The Meeting House Grand Ballroom in Plymouth was classic and elegant, with chandeliers, soft gray walls, white linens, navy napkins, blue table runners, candles, and beautiful floral centerpieces that tied everything together so beautifully.

Once everyone was seated, both sets of parents gave heartfelt speeches, and the father of the bride’s speech left so many people in tears. It was one of those receptions where you could feel how loved the couple was. They were such a wonderful couple, and their friends and family were truly a dream to work with. Everyone was so happy to be there, which made the whole evening feel so happy and fun, from dinner to the dance floor!
