GET IN TOUCH

I've always been drawn to the feeling of films. The moments that stay with you are rarely the perfectly polished ones. They're the scenes where people let their guard down, where you can actually feel what they're feeling. They're honest, a little messy, beautifully imperfect, and completely human.

That's how I approach photography.

I'm Sheree, a Detroit wedding photographer serving Metro Detroit and couples throughout Michigan. I want you to feel comfortable enough to actually be yourselves, while knowing you have someone there who's paying attention and knows when to step in.

One of the first things almost every couple tells me is, "We're so awkward in front of the camera."

My answer is always the same:

You can't do this wrong.

You don't have to know what you're doing because that's my job. I'll give you direction, keep things light, and make sure you never feel like you're standing there wondering what to do with your hands.

We'll move, laugh, try things, and if something feels weird, tell me. I don't need everything to be perfect. I just want it to feel like you.

And when I'm not directing you, I'm paying attention to everything else. The people you love, the little moments happening around you, the timeline, the light, and all the things you shouldn't have to think about on your wedding day.

You get to be there for it.

I'll take care of the rest.

Xo,
Sheree

THE PERSON BEHIND THE CAMERA

What draws me to this work has always been people. I love getting to know who someone is beneath the surface. What they care about, what makes them laugh, what lights them up, and all the little things that make them who they are.

I've always been the person who talks to strangers. I love hearing people's stories, finding common ground, and making genuine connections. It's one of my favorite parts of this job, and honestly, one of my favorite parts of life.

After losing one of the people closest to me, I realized even more deeply how important it is to make people feel seen, understood, and loved while they're here. That perspective has changed the way I move through the world, and it follows me into every wedding day.

When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me with my partner Jeff and our two dogs, Eleven and Willy. We love watching old movies, reading, or finding any excuse to be outside. We're both alcohol-free, but that doesn't stop me from getting down on the dance floor.

At the end of the day, this work has always been about people and making them feel seen.
